It’s a sad fact that the things that you own are coveted by those who don’t have what you have. So they plot and scheme to turn what you have into their own. It’s a sickness of the world. And, when thievery occurs, it pulls us as happy healthy people down the wrong path of humanity into a swirling abyss of hatred and confusion.
When you live in a high crime area, you are forced to be smart about your motorcycle. If you leave it in the wrong spot for too long, or even if you repeatedly park your bike in the same location week after week, month after month, motorcycle thieves will stake out your motorcycle and over the course of time, select the opportune moment to swipe it.
So don’t be one of those people to come out to the parking lot at your place of business or to come out of your house to your driveway or curbside to find that you’ve just been victimized. There are ways to prevent thieves from riding, rolling or lifting your bike away.
Most motorcycles have theft deterrent systems already installed such as the steering lock mechanism which locks the handlebars when the engine is turned off making it difficult for it to be maneuvered by a single person. Other theft deterrents can be added on like external hidden kill switches cutting off power to the battery. Another deterrent is tire locks. Simply adding a U-shaped bike lock to your front or rear spokes will make a potential thief look elsewhere. And the bike lock easily stores in a backpack or saddlebag when not in use. Another easy way to cut the motorcycle power is to remove the battery fuse. In most cases, it’s about the size of a quarter and it’s locked under your seat next to the battery. If you pull that fuse out, that bike wont budge.
Which brings up another point. Some older motorcycles are easy to hot wire. So adding these electrical deterrents will enhance the security of your motorcycle greatly. The last line of defense is deterrent against a group attack. It may seem extreme, but use a long chain to lock your motorcycle to an immovable object like a bike rack, street sign or lamppost.
And finally, make sure you have theft insurance on your motorcycle. Having that coverage added on will give you the remaining piece of mind.

Let’s see if I can offer some advice that is going to help you in your current situation. The first thing you need to do is to stop calling, emailing or texting your ex! I’m guessing that when you have contacted them, it has resulted in more negativity in forms of verbal fighting or abuse so until you have a plan, stop contacting them.
So let’s talk about the plan to win them back. Let’s give them and you a little time apart for right now. Let’s just focus on you. Evaluate where you are physically, emotionally even spiritually, and begin there.
Physically, how have you been taking care of yourself? Such as sleeping? Eating? Even exercise? If you’re lacking in any of these areas, let’s look to make some improvements there. Start cutting out the chips, ice cream and fried food and bringing in more fruits and vegetables. As well, join a gym, start walking or jogging with a friend, play golf, tennis, basketball… you get the picture. You’re going to start feeling stronger, more confident and self-assured in who you are.
Focusing on the physical is going to help you emotionally as well and even spiritually.

Drive is poetic with its minimalism, excessive in its violence, and artistic with its presentation. But while it wisely develops its characters first so that we can appreciate their plights, it fails to deliver on catharsis. The methodical build of intensity and operatic music cues offers so much promise for a truly explosive climax, but Drive seems unwilling to commit to such a satisfying culmination even when its characters are introduced with limitless capabilities and no lack of brutality. The world, its inhabitants, and the choices they make in this brooding fairy tale are all intriguing, but director Refn holds back at all the wrong moments, goes too far when it’s not necessary, and subsequently never allows the audience to fully connect with his nameless antihero or applaud his efforts to save those he loves.
Hollywood stunt driver by day and getaway wheelman for hire by night, Ryan Gosling’s unnamed “Driver” finds meaning in his life when he befriends his neighbor Irene (Carey Mulligan) and her young son. Though their romance is cut short when Irene’s husband Standard (Oscar Isaac) is released from prison, Driver determines to protect them after a botched robbery finds her husband dead and vicious gangsters Bernie Rose (Albert Brooks) and Nino (Ron Perlman) threatening their lives.
The editing and use of music is reminiscent of an ’80s or ’90s action movie, which is unique considering those decades aren’t really old enough to warrant copying as a skillful choice. The inclusion of a love interest attached to someone else, an innocent child (both of which soften the impact of the unpredictable hero), bloody violence, car chases, slow-motion and a lead character with a mysterious past are further nods to generic blow-em-up thrillers. With the notable stylishness, many of these elements are fresher and more exhilarating – it’s as if the cinematography, cutting and soundtrack are pieced together to remind us of the best bits of that not-too-long-ago era of macho moviemaking.
The ever-present score fills in for narration, replacing the need for dialogue. The driver is a man of few words and the screenplay requires little else – the music tells us what we’re supposed to be feeling and what the characters experience. During moments of bloodshed or romance, the intensity is amplified thanks to this technique. Unfortunately, Refn takes one scene in particular too far (a moment in an elevator offered up as promotional footage), which not only doesn’t fit Gosling’s persona, but also garners laughs from the audience because of its extremeness. The film starts slow and pays so much attention to its flash and approach that it momentarily beclouds the fact that underneath, it’s a standard heist-gone-wrong movie with grisly revenge. Unfortunately, the anticlimactic nature of that conscientious carnage voids cathartic vindication. The potential is definitely there, the artistry is clever, and the style overflows with conviction, but the resulting “cool” is dodgy.

The main idea is that it is very hard and almost pointless to start a conversation in these areas. How do I do it?

Okay, I guess I’ll try tackling each question in order…
First, Nightclubs ARE very difficult venues. Unless you’re
specially suited to the party-style nightlife, these venues will be a bit daunting. And even if you are predisposed to this type of pick up, you will still have to deal with lots of competition from other men.
That said, it’s not impossible to meet women in nightclubs. But it will require you to be a little more outgoing and aggressive than other venues.
First off, when I’m in a club, I tend to like to hang out in
open-air areas where I can talk to other people easier. Patios and right outside the club can be good for this. Most clubs will have some form of outdoor area where you can hang out — especially places like New York and Los Angeles where you’re not allowed to smoke inside.
The dance floor can also be quite effective. If you like to dance, go out there and try dancing with the women who are dancing by themselves. If they’re not into it, move on. If they are, it’s PLAY time! =)
Also, keep in mind the time at which you’re going to the club.
Usually, the later it gets, the easier it is to pick up a girl
(this is because as it gets later, people are more pre-disposed to “hook up” due to alcohal, desperation, boredom, etc.).
Second, to approach women on the street takes a bit of finesse. In America, people do tend to be a bit more private than in other
parts of the world. My best advice in this respect is to actually
follow the girl for a bit and see where she’s going. If she stops
off at a coffee shop or a bus stop, or whatever, THAT is the time
to approach her! If it looks like she’s going someplace you can’t
follow her into (like her home/dorm, for instance) then you’ll have to take the chance and try approaching her cold. But make it a quick approach and include a time constraint (“I know you’re on
your way somewhere, this’ll only take a second…”), get her number as quick as you can, then move on.
Finally, when it comes to the “boyfriend” thing, that’s a matter of personal taste. Some guys don’t want to mess with that, others
don’t care. The thing is, most women aren’t THAT committed to their boyfriends, so it’s not as big of an obstacle as you might think.
The important thing to do in this situation is to try and “read”
the woman. Sometimes, a girl will tell you she has a boyfriend when she really doesn’t because she wants to politely reject you (and sometimes she really does have a boyfriend and wants to stay
faithful to him). If this is the case, you have to look at the
signals she’s giving you to see if she’s actually into you or not.
If a woman does like you and IS, in fact, into you, she will usually with-hold the fact that she has a boyfriend. And if she does bring it up, she wants you to take the lead and “sweep her off her feet” so she won’t have to feel guilty about cheating on him. So when that’s the case, it’s time to pump up the agressiveness on your pick up.

Should a single Christian woman wear a bikini? Does the way a woman dress affect her ability to find her Christian match? The way we dress has changed a lot over the last fifty years and swimwear has changed right along with it. Styles, material, or the lack thereof, have taken on a drastically different appearance than their more modest counterparts. Along with this change has also come a shift in the way society, as a whole, views what is or is not deemed appropriate in relation to clothing of any type. Styles that were once considered flamboyant and sexually tempting seem modest and perhaps even prudish now. Let’s take Marilyn Monroe for example. Her low-cut neckline, form-fitting bodice and leg showing skirt were considered quite risque for the time period she lived in. A woman wearing the same dress today might still bring attention to herself, however, the outfit itself would not necessarily rate in the top ten of seductive wear.
In looking at the issue of a single Christian woman wearing a bikini it is important to first look at the underlying issues surrounding why women in general desire to dress in clothing that accentuates or reveals their bodies. In order to do this one must look at the barrage of messages that are sent to women from the time they are young girls via the media, fashion magazines, and the movie industry. While packaged differently the intended message is still the same. If you want to be successful, attractive to the opposite sex, and popular you must dress a certain way, be a certain weight and be willing to do whatever it takes to stand out in the crowd. For some, standing out in the crowd has meant lowering their standards with regard to dress and modesty so they won’t be ridiculed by their peers.
By the time a single Christian woman has reached maturity, this message has been played over and over for her to the point where she becomes desensitized to it. An example of this might be a young Christian college girl invited to her first beach party. As she shops for a bathing suit with her single Christian friends who all select revealing seductive bikinis, the girl simply tells herself it is okay because my friends are Christians and they are buying them. Unfortunately, this is a message that gets reinforced when she wears the revealing swimwear and receives lots of attention from the opposite sex.
The ultimate answer to whether or not a single Christian woman should wear a bikini is found in the bible. The bible doesn’t mention the word “bikini” but little doubt can be left as to how a Christian woman should dress after reading 1 Timothy 2:9 which states “Likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire.”
Proverbs 7:10 is one of those verses that really sums up what a Christian woman should be asking herself any time she considers wearing something sexually seductive or revealing. “And behold, the woman meets him, dressed as a prostitute, wily of heart.” The descriptive nature of the clothing in this verse implies perhaps that the clothing a prostitute wears differs dramatically from normal or modest dress for a reason. Perhaps instead of asking whether or not a single Christian woman should wear a bikini and if it affects her ability to find her Christian match maybe the question we should be asking is why would she want to?
